Designer Statement

This wallpaper design was inspired by the allure of fantasy lands and fairy tales. I was inspired by the beautiful nature and winding branches & vines in an overgrown forest. My goal for this design was to create an elegant and intricate toile inspired design that represented a travelers walk through the forest. I was compelled to communicate a story about movement through a scene. I used Hand-drawn organic motifs to capture the mystery and depth of the forest. The collection colorways depicts the forest throughout different times and seasons to create an immersive story of time and place.
